وَلَقَدْ
And certainly
مَكَّنَّٰهُمْ
We had established them
فِيمَآ
in what
إِن
not
مَّكَّنَّٰكُمْ
We have established you
فِيهِ
in it
وَجَعَلْنَا
and We made
لَهُمْ
for them
سَمْعًا
hearing
وَأَبْصَٰرًا
and vision
وَأَفْـِٔدَةً
and hearts
فَمَآ
But not
أَغْنَىٰ
availed
عَنْهُمْ
them
سَمْعُهُمْ
their hearing
وَلَآ
and not
أَبْصَٰرُهُمْ
their vision
وَلَآ
and not
أَفْـِٔدَتُهُم
their hearts
مِّن
any
شَىْءٍ
thing
إِذْ
when
كَانُوا۟
they were
يَجْحَدُونَ
rejecting
بِـَٔايَٰتِ
(the) Signs
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَحَاقَ
and enveloped
بِهِم
them
مَّا
what
كَانُوا۟
they used to
بِهِۦ
[at it]
يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ
ridicule
