فَلَوْلَا

Then why (did) not

نَصَرَهُمُ

help them

ٱلَّذِينَ

those whom

ٱتَّخَذُوا۟

they had taken

مِن

besides

دُونِ

besides

ٱللَّهِ

Allah

قُرْبَانًا

gods as a way of approach

ءَالِهَةًۢ

gods as a way of approach

بَلْ

Nay

ضَلُّوا۟

they were lost

عَنْهُمْ

from them

وَذَٰلِكَ

And that

إِفْكُهُمْ

(was) their falsehood

وَمَا

and what

كَانُوا۟

they were

يَفْتَرُونَ

inventing
