وَإِنِّى
And indeed,I
كُلَّمَا
every time
دَعَوْتُهُمْ
I invited them
لِتَغْفِرَ
that You may forgive
لَهُمْ
them
جَعَلُوٓا۟
they put
أَصَٰبِعَهُمْ
their fingers
فِىٓ
in
ءَاذَانِهِمْ
their ears
وَٱسْتَغْشَوْا۟
and covered themselves
ثِيَابَهُمْ
(with) their garments
وَأَصَرُّوا۟
and persisted
وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟
and were arrogant
ٱسْتِكْبَارًا
(with) pride
