طَاعَةٌ

(Is) obedience

وَقَوْلٌ

and a word

مَّعْرُوفٌ

kind

فَإِذَا

And when

عَزَمَ

(is) determined

ٱلْأَمْرُ

the matter

فَلَوْ

then if

صَدَقُوا۟

they had been true

ٱللَّهَ

(to) Allah

لَكَانَ

surely, it would have been

خَيْرًا

better

لَّهُمْ

for them
