أَلَمْ

ٱلنَّجْوَىٰ
secret counsels
ثُمَّ
then
يَعُودُونَ
they return
لِمَا
to what
نُهُوا۟
they were forbidden
عَنْهُ
from [it]
وَيَتَنَٰجَوْنَ
and they hold secret counsels
بِٱلْإِثْمِ
for sin
وَٱلْعُدْوَٰنِ
and aggression
وَمَعْصِيَتِ
and disobedience
ٱلرَّسُولِ
(to) the Messenger
وَإِذَا
And when
جَآءُوكَ
they come to you
حَيَّوْكَ
they greet you
بِمَا
with what
لَمْ
not
يُحَيِّكَ
greets you
بِهِ
therewith
ٱللَّهُ
Allah
وَيَقُولُونَ
and they say
فِىٓ
among
أَنفُسِهِمْ
themselves
لَوْلَا
Why (does) not
يُعَذِّبُنَا
Allah punish us
ٱللَّهُ
Allah punish us
بِمَا
for what
نَقُولُ
we say
حَسْبُهُمْ
Sufficient (for) them
جَهَنَّمُ
(is) Hell
يَصْلَوْنَهَا
they will burn in it
فَبِئْسَ
and worst is
ٱلْمَصِيرُ
the destination
