لَوْ
If
أَنزَلْنَا
We (had) sent down
هَٰذَا
this
ٱلْقُرْءَانَ
Quran
عَلَىٰ
on
جَبَلٍ
a mountain
لَّرَأَيْتَهُۥ
surely you (would) have seen it
خَٰشِعًا
humbled
مُّتَصَدِّعًا
breaking asunder
مِّنْ
from
خَشْيَةِ
(the) fear
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَتِلْكَ
And these
ٱلْأَمْثَٰلُ
examples
نَضْرِبُهَا
We present them
لِلنَّاسِ
to the people
لَعَلَّهُمْ
so that they may
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
give thought
