قَطَعْتُم
you cut down
مِّن
of
لِّينَةٍ
(the) palm-trees
أَوْ
or
تَرَكْتُمُوهَا
you left them
قَآئِمَةً
standing
عَلَىٰٓ
on
أُصُولِهَا
their roots
فَبِإِذْنِ
it (was) by the permission
ٱللَّهِ
(of) Allah
وَلِيُخْزِىَ
and that He may disgrace
ٱلْفَٰسِقِينَ
the defiantly disobedient
