فَإِذَا
Then when
بَلَغْنَ
they have reached
أَجَلَهُنَّ
their term
فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّ
then retain them
بِمَعْرُوفٍ
with kindness
أَوْ
or
فَارِقُوهُنَّ
part with them
بِمَعْرُوفٍ
with kindness
وَأَشْهِدُوا۟
And take witness
ذَوَىْ
two men
عَدْلٍ
just
مِّنكُمْ
among you
وَأَقِيمُوا۟
and establish
ٱلشَّهَٰدَةَ
the testimony
لِلَّهِ
for Allah
ذَٰلِكُمْ
That
يُوعَظُ
is instructed
بِهِۦ
with it
مَن
whoever
كَانَ
[is]
يُؤْمِنُ
believes
بِٱللَّهِ
in Allah
وَٱلْيَوْمِ
and the Day
ٱلْءَاخِرِ
the Last
وَمَن
And whoever
يَتَّقِ
fears
ٱللَّهَ
Allah
يَجْعَل
He will make
لَّهُۥ
for him
مَخْرَجًا
a way out
