ٱلَّذِى

The One Who

خَلَقَ

created

ٱلْمَوْتَ

death

وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَ

and life

لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ

that He may test you

أَيُّكُمْ

which of you

أَحْسَنُ

(is) best

عَمَلًا

(in) deed

وَهُوَ

And He

ٱلْعَزِيزُ

(is) the All-Mighty

ٱلْغَفُورُ

the Oft-Forgiving

(2)
