ثم أخبر أنه لو جعل النهار سرمدا دائما مستمرا إلى يوم القيامة ، لأضر ذلك بهم ، ولتعبت الأبدان وكلت من كثرة الحركات والأشغال ; ولهذا قال : ( من إله غير الله يأتيكم بليل تسكنون فيه ) أي : تستريحون من حركاتكم وأشغالكم . ( أفلا تبصرون )
