وقوله : ( ولا تطع الكافرين والمنافقين ودع أذاهم ) ، أي : لا تطعهم و [ لا ] تسمع منهم في الذي يقولونه ( ودع أذاهم ) أي : اصفح وتجاوز عنهم ، وكل أمرهم إلى الله ، فإن فيه كفاية لهم; ولهذا قال : ( وتوكل على الله وكفى بالله وكيلا ) .
