( فَانْظُرْ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الْمُنْذَرِينَ ) يقول: فتأمل وتبين كيف كان غِبُّ أمر الذين أنذرتهم أنبياؤنا، وإلام صار أمرهم، وما الذي أعقبهم كفرهم بالله، ألم نهلكهم فنصيرهم للعباد عبرة ولمن بعدهم عظة؟.
