( قد قالها الذين من قبلهم ) أي : قد قال هذه المقالة وزعم هذا الزعم وادعى هذه الدعوى ، كثير ممن سلف من الأمم ( فما أغنى عنهم ما كانوا يكسبون ) أي : فما صح قولهم ولا منعهم جمعهم وما كانوا يكسبون .
