وقوله: (وَأَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ ) يقول تعالى ذكره معجبا نبيه محمدا من أهل النار (وَأَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ ) الذين يؤخذ بهم ذات الشمال من موقف الحساب إلى النار (مَا أَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ ) ماذا لهم، وماذا أعدّ لهم.
كما حدثنا بشر، قال: ثنا يزيد، قال: ثنا سعيد، عن قتادة، قوله: (وَأَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ ) : أي ماذا لهم، وماذا أعدّ لهم.
