وقوله : ( والذين هم لأماناتهم وعهدهم راعون ) أي : إذا اؤتمنوا لم يخونوا ، وإذا عاهدوا لم يغدروا . وهذه صفات المؤمنين ، وضدها صفات المنافقين ، كما ورد في الحديث الصحيح : " آية المنافق ثلاث : إذا حدث كذب ، وإذا وعد أخلف ، وإذا اؤتمن خان " . وفي رواية : " إذا حدث كذب ، وإذا عاهد غدر ، وإذا خاصم فجر " .
