ثم يقال: ( هَذَا الَّذِي كُنْتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ ) يقول جلّ ثناؤه: ثم يقال لهؤلاء المكذّبين بيوم الدين: هذا العذاب الذي أنتم فيه اليوم، هو العذاب الذي كنتم في الدنيا تخبرون أنكم ذائقوه، فتكذّبون به، وتنكرونه، فذوقوه الآن، فقد صَلَيْتُم به.
