﴿ما أغنى عنهم ما كانوا يمتعون﴾: ما استفهامية مفعول مقدم لـ﴿أغنى﴾، والاستفهام إنكاري بمعنى النفي، وقيل: ما نافية، وأغنى فعل ماض، و﴿عنهم﴾ جار ومجرور متعلقان بـ﴿أغنى﴾، و﴿ما﴾ موصولة فاعل، أو مصدرية، وهي ومدخولها في تأويل مصدر فاعل أغنى.
