( ألم يروا ) ألم يخبروا ، يعني : أهل مكة ( كم أهلكنا قبلهم من القرون ) والقرن : أهل كل عصر ، سموا بذلك لاقترانهم في الوجود ( أنهم إليهم لا يرجعون ) أي : لا يعودون إلى الدنيا فلا يعتبرون بهم .
