ثم قالت الرسل : ( وما لنا ألا نتوكل على الله ) أي : وما يمنعنا من التوكل عليه ، وقد هدانا لأقوم الطرق وأوضحها وأبينها ، ( ولنصبرن على ما آذيتمونا ) أي : من الكلام السيئ ، والأفعال السخيفة ، ( وعلى الله فليتوكل المتوكلون )
