Merging a noon sakinah نۡ or tanween ـً ـٍ ـٌ completely into a following ل or ر, with no ghunnah.
When it applies
مِن رَّبِّهِمۡ, هُدٗى لِّلۡمُتَّقِينَ.
How to read it
Drop the noon entirely and read the lam or ra with a shaddah: mir-rabbihim.
