Reading a letter heavy, with a full deep sound, the back of the tongue raised.
When it applies
- Always heavy: خ ص ض غ ط ق ظ (khussa daghtin qiz).
- Ra with a fatha or damma: رَبِّ.
- Lam of ٱللَّه after a fatha or damma: قَالَ ٱللَّهُ.
How to read it
Fill the mouth with the sound. Heaviest with a fatha, lighter with a kasra.
