Reading a letter light, with a thin sound. Most letters are always light; ra and the lam of Allah change.
When it applies
- Ra with a kasra, or a ra sakinah after a kasra: رِجَالٌ, فِرۡعَوۡنَ.
- Lam of ٱللَّه after a kasra: بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ.
How to read it
Keep the tongue low and the sound thin.
