Translation of Surah Al-A'raf, ayah 166 (7:166)

فَلَمَّا عَتَوۡاْ عَن مَّا نُهُواْ عَنۡهُ قُلۡنَا لَهُمۡ كُونُواْ قِرَدَةً خَٰسِـِٔينَ ١٦٦

But when they stubbornly persisted in violation, We said to them, “Be disgraced apes!”¹
