The eighth word of verse (8:35) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and verbal noun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The indefinite form II verbal noun is feminine and is in the accusative case (منصوب). The verbal noun's triliteral root is ṣād dāl yā (ص د ي).
