The tenth word of verse (8:36) is divided into 5 morphological segments. A resumption particle, future particle, verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The prefixed future particle sa is used in combination with the imperfect (present tense) verb to form the future tense. The form IV imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is nūn fā qāf (ن ف ق). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun. The attached object pronoun is third person feminine singular.
