Quran Corpus and Grammar Tool

The first word of verse (8:69) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A particle of cause, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so". The particle is used to indicate cause and makes the following verb subjunctive. The imperative verb (فعل أمر) is second person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is hamza kāf lām (أ ك ل). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.
