The third word of verse (9:41) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and noun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The indefinite noun is masculine plural and is in the accusative case (منصوب). The noun's triliteral root is thā qāf lām (ث ق ل).
