The seventh word of verse (9:60) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and passive participle. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form II passive participle is feminine and is in the genitive case (مجرور). The passive participle's triliteral root is hamza lām fā (أ ل ف).
