The seventeenth word of verse (9:94) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, future particle and verb. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The prefixed future particle sa is used in combination with the imperfect (present tense) verb to form the future tense. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is rā hamza yā (ر أ ي).
