Quran Corpus and Grammar Tool
The Quran Corpus and Grammar Tool is a work in progress. Stay tuned for updates as we continue to develop this tool to provide in-depth analysis and insights into the grammar and linguistic structure of the Quranic text.
The first word of verse (9:95) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A future particle, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed future particle sa is used in combination with the imperfect (present tense) verb to form the future tense. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is ḥā lām fā (ح ل ف). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.
