The twelfth word of verse (10:22) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person feminine plural. The verb's triliteral root is jīm rā yā (ج ر ي). The suffix (النون) is an attached subject pronoun.
