The ninth word of verse (10:24) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and verb. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The form VIII perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine singular. The verb's triliteral root is khā lām ṭā (خ ل ط).
