The sixteenth word of verse (11:28) is divided into 4 morphological segments. An interrogative alif, verb and two object pronouns. The prefixed alif is an interrogative particle used to form a question and is usually translated as "is", "are", or "do". The form IV imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is first person plural and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is lām zāy mīm (ل ز م).
