The first word of verse (12:25) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form VIII perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine dual. The verb's triliteral root is sīn bā qāf (س ب ق). The suffix (الألف) is an attached subject pronoun.
