The sixth word of verse (16:65) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A resumption particle and verb. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine singular. The verb's triliteral root is ḥā yā yā (ح ي ي).
