The second word of verse (17:28) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A verb and emphatic suffix. The form IV imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is second person masculine singular and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is ʿayn rā ḍād (ع ر ض). The suffixed emphatic particle is known as the nūn of emphasis (نون التوكيد).
