The ninth word of verse (18:55) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form X imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the subjunctive mood (منصوب). The verb's triliteral root is ghayn fā rā (غ ف ر).
