The eighth word of verse (18:79) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A resumption particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person singular. The verb's triliteral root is rā wāw dāl (ر و د). The suffix (التاء) is an attached subject pronoun.
