The tenth word of verse (21:5) is divided into 4 morphological segments. A resumption particle, imperative particle, verb and object pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "let" and is used to form an imperative construction. The imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine singular and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is hamza tā yā (أ ت ي). The attached object pronoun is first person plural.
