The first word of verse (21:79) is divided into 4 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb, subject pronoun and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction fa is usually translated as "and". The form II perfect verb (فعل ماض) is first person plural. The verb's triliteral root is fā hā mīm (ف ه م). The suffix (نا) is an attached subject pronoun. The attached object pronoun is third person feminine singular.
