The sixth word of verse (24:59) is divided into 4 morphological segments. A resumption particle, imperative particle, verb and subject pronoun. The connective particle fa is usually translated as "then" or "so" and is used to indicate a sequence of events. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "let" and is used to form an imperative construction. The form X imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person masculine plural and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's triliteral root is hamza dhāl nūn (أ ذ ن). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.
