The fifth word of verse (3:17) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and active participle. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form X active participle is masculine plural and is in the accusative case (منصوب). The active participle's triliteral root is ghayn fā rā (غ ف ر).
