The eighth word of verse (3:20) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A verb and object pronoun. The form VIII perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine singular. The verb's triliteral root is tā bā ʿayn (ت ب ع). The yā of the first person singular object pronoun has been omitted due to elision (الياء محذوفة), and is indicated by the kasrah.
