The eighth word of verse (3:25) is divided into 2 morphological segments. A conjunction and verb. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The passive form II perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person feminine singular. The verb's triliteral root is wāw fā yā (و ف ي).
