The eighth word of verse (28:10) is divided into 2 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix and verb. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The form IV imperfect verb (فعل مضارع) is third person feminine singular and is in the indicative mood (مرفوع). The verb's triliteral root is bā dāl wāw (ب د و).
