The first word of verse (28:34) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, noun and possessive pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The noun is masculine singular and is in the nominative case (مرفوع). The noun's triliteral root is hamza khā wāw (أ خ و). The attached possessive pronoun is first person singular.
