The fifth word of verse (3:37) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine singular. The verb's triliteral root is nūn bā tā (ن ب ت). The attached object pronoun is third person feminine singular.
