The eighth word of verse (3:37) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and object pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form II perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine singular. The verb's triliteral root is kāf fā lām (ك ف ل). The attached object pronoun is third person feminine singular.
