The third word of verse (3:78) is divided into 2 morphological segments. An emphatic prefix and noun. The prefixed particle lām is usually translated as "surely" or "indeed" and is used to add emphasis. The indefinite noun is masculine and is in the accusative case (منصوب). The noun's triliteral root is fā rā qāf (ف ر ق).
