The seventh word of verse (3:89) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form IV perfect verb (فعل ماض) is third person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is ṣād lām ḥā (ص ل ح). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.
